Today’s the day. The day you help save the internet from being ruined.
(Long story short: The FCC is about to make a critical decision as to whether or not internet service providers have to treat all traffic equally. If they choose wrong, then the internet where anyone can start a website for any reason at all, the internet that’s been so momentous, funny, weird, and surprising—that internet could cease to exist. Here’s your chance to preserve a beautiful thing.)
John F. Kennedy, 1957. Photograph by Janet Travell.
Update: There has been some messages to me regarding this picture and it’s true location. Some believing it was taken in Palm Beach instead of Hyannis Port. I would agree because the large palm tree matches photos from the palm beach residence! This photo was taken by Janet Travell, MD. She was Jacks physician. Her official website claims this was taken in “1957 at Hyannis Port”. If the information is not correct, then I apologize. Thanks!

This lack of notes is disturbing.
yes it is .. blog more people
The notes are very disappointing. Especially to me.
seriously what the fuck why doesnt this have more notes?
Not a fan of these ‘reblog if this lawls’, but the note number is laughably low compared to all the female stuff that gets passed around.
Then again, this is Tumblr, where men are less than human, so.
“In 2001, George did a live webchat with the fans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of All Things Must Pass
below is the Yahoo Chat transcript — enjoy!
(live chat with George Feb. 17, 2001)”
www.georgeharrison.com released the transcript of a live chat with his fans. Here are just some of the things he said to the fans.
this will forever be one of my favorite things that George has done.
I wish George was here…
"It’s one of those things that go up your butt"
HE TROLLED BEFORE US ALL.
Saw this on a random bench, and it just made me really sad.. Sometimes it’s good to just sit and observe your surroundings in solitude for a while but notice how it says “many years”.. This hit me hard, sometimes we live like we have an unlimited amount of hours to live, one day we’re sitting on a bench enjoying the scenery the next we might be in a casket. I realised that i dont want to react to life anymore, i want to live it by my own terms. Maybe someday i’ll get a bench in memory of my existence, but a small statute or a paragraph about me in a well known book on how i LIVED my life would be an even greater honour.
"In memory of W.G Findlay
Who spent many years
On this seat
Watching the world go by “
